Only a couple of laps achieved so far as the first session was red flagged and since then they have been clearing the roads.

Dean Harrison was the rider involved and and he is ok.
The weather is drizzly and it just doesn't look good for the rest of this evenings practice.

A few 600's have gone out for a couple of laps in the wet (which may turn out to be a qualifying session).

Radio commentary - It looks as if this IS now a qualifying session.

No more racing tonight (lack of light), but Practicing for 125/400's will take place. (No more sidecars)

Due to tonights incidents and inclement weather, there will be a rethink on tomorrows schedule required, no doubt released later this evening.

The rider involved in the Red Flag incident during the Corlett’s Trophies 600/1000cc Race on Tuesday evening at the Southern 100 International Road Races has been named as Dan Hegarty from Nottingham.

He was initially taken to Nobles by Airmed, where he was detained overnight for observation.

Dan is expected to be released later today.
