13-day Mountain Road closure to allow TT preparation works - Malcolm - 23-02-2016

The Department of Infrastructure has announced that the Mountain Road from Ramsey to Creg-ny-Baa will be completely closed to traffic for 13 days, from Monday, April 11, to Saturday, April 23 for TT preparation works.
The matter was discussed at last week’s Ramsey Commissioners’ meeting.
Steven Bevan commented that the road closure for preparation work was becoming almost as long as the TT period itself.
The board agreed to Pat Ayres’ suggestion that the DoI be asked if the Tholt-y-Will to Creg-ny-Baa section could remain open in order to assist commuters.
