Re: So...who's coming... - Anonymous - 20-05-2004

Me 'n' Pamela (she rides "Lilly" a Dragstar).
We arrive on saturday 29th via Liverpool, then off the Sulby for the first week. On Saturday, 5th June, we move across to Bray Hill, for the second week. So, that me, Pamela, a yellow VW Beetle and trailer, "Lilly" and my Honda CB400Four (the modern grey import, not the little classic.
I hope to see some of you in the Sulby Glen Hotel, practice week, or drop into ses us in the cottage near Sulby Bridge.
During race week, we are in Douglas! I havent done that for years and Pamela, never. So..... we hope to meet loads of friends old and new, in pubs, if necessary!

It looks like being a very different T.T. , but its largely up to us, the fans, to make it a good one!
So safe journey, one and all and look forward to seeing you?

Mike

Jim, Chris and Bob Alston. Over on the 4th.

Me on my 2003 Triumph Daytona 600 race replica.
Bob on his 125 Mito Cagiva, unless he passes his test on the 2nd, in which case his 1989 CBR 600 (Made somewhere outside the UK apparently).

Chris, sat on his rear end, hopefully behind Bobby.

Re: So...who's coming... - Anonymous - 20-05-2004

So, Chris?
Are you actually staying at Rosies?
The Sulby Gemn Hotel?
Its our "local" when we go over and has been for some time.
So, it would be a good place to meet, certainly in practice week.
I think a meet in Douglas for race week is the best option.
Anyway, sya where and we wil get there.

Mike

Where? When? - Anonymous - 20-05-2004

I thought Saturday night, and wondered where could cope with us! Somewhere not too noisy so we can talk, and probably best to be in Douglas, as most people would be staying there. Perhaps Barry Wood's local where some of us met at Manx time?

Re: So...who's coming... - Anonymous - 20-05-2004

On the ferry next Thursday afternoon Helen, A more relaxed atmosphere this time hopefully with our own bikes! Bob Grant came up trumps with the offer of his Big Motorhome, At least i can make a saving on accomodation and spend it on some Food for Larry's BBQ!!! Oh and tyres and pistons and and and and!!!!!!!!! Have a good one everybody. Cheers John

Meet at the Manor - Anonymous - 22-05-2004

The pub I was thinking of is the Manor. It's Barry Wood's local, and a crowd of us went there at MGP time and had a good night. I doubt if Barry will be there as he hasn't time or money to drink at TT time..no alcohol in the racing season, I believe. How about it folks...8pm, The Manor in Douglas Saturday 6th June?
I'll be wearing my Witch T-shirt!

Re: Meet at the Manor - Anonymous - 22-05-2004

Good idea.... where is the Manor? Is it on the prom or down the quay?
