At least they seem to have made a couple of arrests, theoretically it should be safer now?

Good post capt, it gives lads and lasses fair warning to not leave your bike unattended while you're at any of the docks.
The thieving scum are out there, waiting for an easy opportunity, don't be their quick buck!

It's a real shame, the Royal is now a hotel too, so they may have been staying overnight, or maybe came out at closing time to go to the harbour.
Either way the holiday has been ruined, 1 bike still missing & the recovered ones probably broken in some way & needed examining for fingerprints etc.

The penalties are not stiff enough. Any one taking some one else's possession that they have worked hard to pay for. Unfortunately we cure more for the criminals then the victims in this country.

Perhaps they need persuading to tell where the other bike is, like amputate a few fingers , lump hammer their hands, smash their knee caps, water torcher etc, just a thought.
