They've announced on the radio the incident was in the area of Ago's Leap - the same location as the red flag in the first sidecar race.

Heard them asking the Marshalls at Sarah's if they would be available for tomorrow.
About time the Marshalls got free travel. I come over every year but I wouldn't use my holiday to Marshall. Fair play to them. Long days and greff of some of the fans.

I used to use my holidays to come and marshal (late eighties, early nineties and again in 2006) but it got too expensive and accommodation too rare....I'd love to volunteer again if it were much cheaper

Yes without doubt the marshals need to be better respected and treated. Those creaming off from the TT need to understand NO Marshals NO TT.

It always used to annoy me that we were never given priority for sailings as marshals.

Completely agree about the marshals deserving to be better supported. A rebate on their ferry ticket per day marshaled would be a good start.
Music festivals give free entry to people volunteering as litter pickers.

Only get anything financial if you marshal at both TT and Manx GP, then 50% (up to max £100) cash back on Manx GP fare.
