Travelling to isle of Man this weekend? - captainsparkledotcom - 07-07-2022

If you're going from Heysham please note :
Morecambe Music festival is on all weekend, bands on in most pubs & cafes, an excellent free way to spend some time!
Morecambe Catch the Wind Kite Festival, is on Sat & Sun on the beach near The Midland Hotel, some fantastic kites, it's another great free way to spend a bit of time!
Georges paw patrol Convoy, Sunday leaving from the harbour (opposite side to Steam packet terminal) about 12pm & proceeding down Heysham Road to Morecambe Prom, the full length to Happy Mount Park, this is for the little lad that was killed in the gas explosion in May last year. The convoy will consist of Horse "trotters", lorries, cars & any other mode of transport. It'll may well block the prom going North for the afternoon!

Just wanted to let folk know, keep your vehicles off the prom (or keep on the right side, towards the harbour!) on Sunday could be the best idea.

& don't forget, there's a stack of local info on my "helpful hints" page!
