Ian regarding your question this was reported on Realroadracing.com
"that as a mark of respect for their fellow World Endurance competitor that Thomas Hinterreiter, Marcel Kellenberger, Franky Heidger, Stephane Mertens and Karl Truchsess only completed their warm up and sighting lap, then retired to the pits."
