Okey dokes - is it not all the same, practically? On my radio it has FM and MW. Do I need to breakaway from Tesco Value Radios ( Tongue ) or is MW the same as AM??
Sorry for my apparent and extensive ignorance

AM is the same as MW

1368 AM can be heard over a wide area around the Irish Sea obviously the nearer to the IOM you are the better.
If you are furthur away then climb a mountain

Righto, cheers. I live in Dumfries, which on a good day you can see from the top of Snaefel - I guess i'll just fiddle around with the aerial abit.

It can pay to check out Manx Radio on 89.0 MHz FM in the evenings for the RadioTT chat show during race week. It's usually on there along with much better sound quality. Smile

No, it has only ever been linked up with RadioTT during the raceweek evening chat show slot, that I have noticed. Even so, it beats all the whistling and fine tuning!
