Come on John - if he's not much worse for his harrowing experience, then it was hardly worth his while going :!: :!:

What's this about the QB Hotel - he never mentioned that when we spoke with him at length in the George on Wednesday afternoon . . . . . .

Mind you, he was on continuous cups of coffee at the time . . . . . 8)

I attended a grand free concert on Friday @ The QB
A great show was provided by Mr D Clucas and his rock'n roll emsemble.
Refreshment was provided by Aurthur Guinness and his good staff at the QB.
All of which occured after marshalling at Ago's

Coffee by day Guinness by night.

Cakes and a bed can be found here

As we have pheasants a-plenty here in Lincolnshire, like it's dodge the pheasant time each time you take to the road, I will have to import a few to Gorse Lea,so be warned!
Keep up the good work, you guys, and we look forward to the next report--wish we were there!

It looks as though the pheasant has just gone into shock after seeing John's hair style  Lol Lol

- Don Simons - 06-06-2006

That is his Feasant Phooling Phasard, the Feasant thinks he is a Phemale Feasant. A rather unattractive one as it turns out, thus his look of consternation at John's unprovoked advances.

On Saturday there was some discussion regarding collective nouns.
I've discovered that the collective noun for a group of pheasants is

A bouquet of pheasants

Still working on greenfinches but so far it's a charm of finches

Aparently a bouquet of pheasants only become a bouquet once they've been flushed on the ground they are a covey

On his way to Gorse Lea this morning Foz ran into a SMALL problem

........and you should see the massive pile of Don that it left behind the shelter! smilie

- Don Simons - 08-06-2006

As usual Foster has put his foot in it again, and they were his best feasant stalking boots as well.
John does speak a lot of an acronym for an organisation I happen to be president of:
Society for the Hassling of Irish Teachers

- John Foster - 08-06-2006

Don, it comes as no surprise to any of us that you are a leading member of an effluent society.

Cargo, you'll need to get some haemorrhoid cream if you are developing piles like that .
