My goodness, there appear to be people who are not totally anti speed on the IoM! I have a letter published in today' Manx Independent describing how I feel about some residents continually harping on about speed causing accidents, and the general dreadful driving habits of many people here.Brandish is a super bend now, and it can easily be negotiated much faster than many dare to drive. If they are not capable of travelling at 40mph+ then they should not be allowed out!

Good post Hilary!

We have the opposite problem in Hampshire, though you may have some.
We suffer from boy racers (and others) who drive far TOO fast in the lanes, especially round blind bends.

That's a real problem. If an accident happens they ever said that was a speed problem. But never was said the problem was that someone was to SLOW!! The new outfit of Brandish allows very high speeds. As Hilary said, if 40mph is to fast for you for at Brandish - stay at home!
