Toy Run Reading Berks, were you there ??? - ian huntly - 09-12-2007
What a spectacle it was as upward of 1500 motorcycles and riders set off at 2pm today from Old County Hall, Reading to ride out sedately the six miles to Wokingham to a local school to deliver toys and presents to be distributed to all Barnados homes over England. Most of the bikes and riders were bedecked with tinsel and xmas sparkle and there were at least 100 Santas and their elves.
Brought a lump to the throat it did, and I must congratulate the organiser Sean who has run this event for a number of years now.
A very good event indeed. Well done.
