Best moment(s) - thewitch - 09-06-2008

I was going to ask for your best moment in the 2008 TT, but found I had more than one, so I hope you did too.

Martin Hull getting his special award from Mark Middleton, presented by Steve Webster.... true stars all of them....

ALL the faces of riders coming into the pit return lane at the end of their race... didn't matter if they were first or last...

Every time I saw the irrepressible Coxy... happiness personified, isn't he?

The early morning practice bus........... the unstoppable Roy Hanks, and his quiet, reserved passenger, Dave Wells.

Oh... there was one awful moment... when Dave and Dan came straight in from the start finish, right up the pit return lane to retire. I really could have cried.

Moment for 2009... GUY'S FIRST WIN... it HAS to happen.

RE: Best moment(s) - FC - 09-06-2008

Only having to pay £6-50 for a steak dinner at DBYC

On a serious not I have to say the standard of racing , the nice tidy paddock, some of the H&S restrictions, Yes Paul and his team have done well,

Worst moment, having to Praise Paul and team on the Forums (joke) well done and good luck for 2009.

Nope, the *best* moment of this year's TT was picking Janice up at the airport this evening after
more xrays and a consultation with her specialist in Liverpool.

The bone grafts worked, every thing's knitting up nicely and THE CAST IS OFF!!!

A year and a day!

Brilliant! In the words of a well-known TT commentator, that's ABSOLUTELY TREMENDOUS news!

Oh, there were so much:
when somebody brought a lot of wood
when everybody sounds his horn passing the Gruseleck
when an old lady warned for the Radar
when an other lady brought a bottle of whiskey
when the sun arised in the early morning
when the Manx people said "You're welcome" and "Come back next year"
and , and , and

Michael
Gruseleck
