Fiat van keys - Bill Snelling - 11-06-2008

Anyone out there who can assist in getting keys for a Fiat Scudo van?
Only one set with vehicle, guess who lost them!
Also - for sale - Citroen C15 Romahome - basically a double bed on wheels! Needs some work but good runner - not big enough for both of us and the pooch, Pat frets when I leave her behind.
Also - for sale - Big Transit van with fully fitted kitchen down one side, full stove, fridge, fitted cupboards, leather seats, two cameras (one rear - one reversing), three (new) batteries, heavy duty tow bar (used to tow an Astra grass tracker), high output starter and generator (last owner auto electrician). Ideal for towing race trailer.
Pat says I can't buy a bike until I get rid of them! Need my fix of vintage runs, Burgman not eligible.

When I saw this I thought it was about a mixed ethnicity Italian/Dutch bloke - a bit like that well-known Hertz VanRental!

RE: Fiat van keys - cargo - 11-06-2008

Bill if you have lost the keys and don't have a spare you could be in for quite a shock.

Modern cars/vans have coded keys and if you don't have one to copy it can cost hundreds to get a new one from a dealer.
I was quoted £700 for my car ???????????????

Your best bet is to try a good locksmith it will still be expensive but to be honest it is your only hope

If the keys are chipped, like a fiat doblo? A replacement will cost around £80 and then it needs programmed. Remember they all (keys) need to be done together! smilie
