Hi all
Firstly thanks to all who came to the Yacht in Loughshinny on Friday night , it was a great success.
Thanks to Brian & Brendan for letting us old rockers have the upstairs lounge ,and Paul Corry and Bar crew for looking after us.
We had the place Rocking and our special guests were Barry Devlin and Jim Lockhart from the legendary Horslips.
Everyone enjoyed the craic and Music especially whe we played "Trouble with a Capital T".
Thanks also to Yvonne Ward for the Riders wives calenders , some MEN were not allowed to take them home as their wives were with them !
Thanks to my old pal the brilliant Pat Corr for doing the Door and shaking the bucket (Simon included ).
Just to let you all know we raised just over €600 for the TTSC & The Injured Riders Fund, Yvonne told me they have been very busy this year helping those that get hurt while providing us with our fav sport.
Thanks for all your support , perhaps we will be rocking again over the Killalane if we can get everyone together again.
By the way after getting my hand super glued after my accident with a sharp edge by the doc's during the week, I managed to still play and drop sticks as I went along as my right thumb was F**ked !
I just kept pulling them out of my stick bag and no one seemed to notice !
