Prize money in all sports is driven by television contracts, merchandise and gate receipts. We do better with TV now than we used to but I think DED got slaughtered a while back for their 'giving away...

I have a few yellow souvenir plates in the loft somewhere. Good idea. Also got a Klaus Enders plate somewhere, did he break down at Ramsey Bus Station in 1970'ish? Or am I just making that up??!!

I read that the first Senior TT was only held in 1911, the first year of The Mountain Circuit, I'll do more homework on that! Also, this was the 96th event, but has The Senior been run at every event?...
