Whatever the pros and cons of early morning practice it gave riders a lot more time to practice and learn the course. And I loved it :icon_lol:

As far as I know the commentary is usually only on MW, maybe 1341?  Think I've only ever heard it on the Saturday.  I'm currently in Stranraer where it's nice and dry so hopefully it's the same a few ...

Yes, switching from big singles to lightweight multis and back without any problem is rather different to today when the classes are basically all the same.  Not to mention nine laps in a day.
