I am very saddened at the news of the passing of Prof Blair with whom I had a number of discussions during the QUB era.

I hope Yamaha will mark his passing during next years commemorations and celebrations.

yes Ian, it would indeed be nice to see Dr Blair remembered with Yamaha celebrations next yr, if only the British MC Industry had the same foresight as Yamaha had, they would be top dogs to day.
I remember Dr Blair, always smoking his pipe, he used to work with my hero, the Late Brian STEENSON, AND LATER WITH THE LEGENDARY rAY mCcULLOUGH.
