All the top names in road racing are set to compete in this year's Ulster Grand Prix Bike Week.

The Dundrod club have confirmed entries from top Honda riders John McGuinness, Keith Amor, Gary Johnson, Bruce Anstey, Cameron Donald and William Dunlop.

Michael Dunlop, Guy Martin and Conor Cummins will also be on the grid.

Clerk-of-the-course Noel Johnston has reiterated that safety is of paramount importance with extra safety bales being positioned around the circuit.

"As ever, safety around the circuit is paramount and I am always looking for ways to improve this," said Johnston.

"2 and 4 Wheels have funded £40,000 worth of additional safety bales, which will be strategically placed around the course.

"The exciting thing about this year's event is that the competition is wide open and anyone could win,"
he added.

Practice for the races begins on Wednesday 10 August, with the Dundrod 150 races on Thursday and Ulster Grand Prix raceday on 13 August.
