McFarland killed in Czech crash
Tyrone motorcyclist Adrian McFarland has been killed in an accident during a race in the Czech Republic.

McFarland, from Plumbridge near Omagh, was a familiar figure on the Northern Ireland road racing scene.

He had been a regular competitor on the Isle of Man, achieving four top 10 finishes in the Manx Grand Prix races.

A former sponsor of McFarland, Mark McCausland, said: "I have just heard, and I am stunned. He was a great guy. I was proud when he was riding my bikes."

TTwebsite wish to extend their deepest and sincerest sympathy to the family and friends of Adrian at this very sad time.

R.I.P Adrian.

sad loss once again. lovely bloke. met him at skerries some years ago when he popped into the trailer tent for a look at 'your wee house'. just blown his engine to bits and decided to 'celebrate'. r.i.p boy, you'll be sadly missed. condolences to all his close friends and of course his family.
