Race Secretary, George Peach said:

"The Committee are in the process of reviewing the regulations and entry criteria for the 2012 races and have confirmed that Southern 100 Racing will continue to support the popular two-stroke classes at both of our events where they are eligible to race, although the 125’s will race with the 400’s and the 250’s with the 650 SuperTwins.

"The two-strokes have been part of the Southern 100 for many years and competitors have supported us throughout and provided excellent racing and entertainment so we are keen to keep the classes alive as long as we receive the support of the current riders and entrants we will
endeavour to cater for them.

"The club looks forward to receiving entries for these two classes which are extremely popular with the spectators visiting the Billown course for the Manx Telecom Post TT and Steam Packet Southern 100 races."
