I'm new to this forum, so please forgive me if I'm doing it all wrong.
I need some help to resolve an arguement I'm having with a friend.
Can anyone remember if it was Hartle or Minter that crashed the Gilera at Brandish in the mid-sixties. If so was it in a race or in practie, and in which year

Derek Minter was out practising a Gilera and came off at the run down between Brandish and Hillberry if my memory is still working---I think the year was 1966 or could it have been 1964 the year after the Scuderia Duke Gileras came out of mothballs under Phil Read and John Hartle--I think it was 1966-

John Hartle dropped his MV Agusta right beside me at the section between Cronk-ny-Mona and Signpost--
He was No22 and I have a picture taken by me of the actual tumble which caused him to retire..
