The popular Bush road races are back again. Following a years absence, the Dungannon and District MCC are in full swing with their preparations for the 2014 Bush Road Races. The club are pleased to announce their Title sponsor for the event, H2 Engineering. The club are indebted to H2 Engineering for all their assistance in helping to run the race
This will be the eighth running of this popular road race, which runs through the Bush village on the outskirts of Dungannon, and will take place on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th June. Roads will close on Friday at 4pm and reopen at 9.30pm. Roads will close on Saturday at 10am and reopen at 7.30pm
The Club are keeping the same ten race format for the event, and due to popular demand, a Parade lap has been included in the race day programme.
Additional support for the event comes from their long time loyal sponsors, Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council, The Cohannon Inn and Autolodge, Gerald McHugh and Son Crane Hire, Emerald Road Racing Magazine and D&GW Racing.
As everyone is aware the costs of promoting an event , costs are ever increasing, and to help boost the club funds for2014, the Dungannon and District MCC have pulled out all stops to organize a Motor Cycle and Chat show, which will take place at Killyman Church of Ireland hall, on Saturday 5th April.
This show already promises to be the best ever, with almost 100 motor cycles on display. There will be Three chat shows, With Guest stars, Michael “Indie” Dukopil and his girlfriend, Veronika Hankocyova, along with top riders from Ireland, Classic riders will also have their chat show, and the third Chat show will be the Dromara Destroyers!. Comperes for the chat shows will be well known Motor cycle Correspondent, Willis Marshall and Classic racing exponent, Paddy Hoey. There will also be many side shows, minimoto displays etc. The show will start at 10.00am. Admission £5, proceeds to Clic Sergeant Home from Home Northern Ireland Appeal and Dungannon & District Motorcycle Club.
