Thanks

At the top by your username you'll see "User CP" next to "Log Out". Click User CP then in the menu on the left click "edit signature".

Thanks hammerhead. Now sorted [Image: smiley-happy110.gif]

I can't work out how to add my avatar. I know how to do it it just won't upload. Keeps telling me it's too big. I've shrunk it down to 100x67 pixels (37.6kb) but it still says that's too big. Surely it can't go much smaller?

Doesn't sound right mate - with mine it said "too big" and something along the lines of "will automatically reduce the size". Maybe try going in via a different browser or computer?

Mine says the same. Tried it in IE and Chrome but it just won't work.

The Avatar limitations are set in two ways.

Overall physical size 100 x 100 pixels

Loading size - 20kb

Try reformatting to reduce the loading size in one of the graphic programmes available.

Sorry if this doesn't fit with your wishes but I have to limit the size in order to save server space and also minimize any potential SPAM/Hack activity that could be included (hidden) within any Avatar.

RE: new over here
Thanks for the reply Malcolm. It's not so much my wishes (I'm happy to fit in with what's required) I just can't seem to do it. I've shrunk my pic to 100x67 pixels in Photoshop, so that's OK but the lowest quality I can select still makes it bigger than 20kb and even then the quality is so poor it can't really be made out anyway. Guess I'll just have to live without.

Moved over from the old forum. I've bever been to the TT or even the Isle of Man yet but after 34 years at Irish road races, there's not much I don't know about our races & riders.
