i had the honour of riding with joey at ouston and in 1979 southern 100, not very succesfully, fell off at ouston, broken crank at soouthern 100, he was just one of the lads, down to earth, when my pal Bob Jackson had his terrible accident in n ireland joey was a regular visitor to bobs bedside whilst he was in Belfast hospital. we will never forget you joey, Alan.
