Stuart Easton has experienced his first taste of the Lloyds British Moto Rapido Ducati at Cadwell Park today (Tuesday), making his test debut with the team ahead of the next round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship in Lincolnshire over the August Bank Holiday weekend (August 27/28/29).

Easton parted company with the ePayMe Yamaha team after Thruxton and is already getting to grips with the thundering Ducati Panigale after the opening morning on track at Cadwell Park.

Easton said: 

“It’s very different, but that was to be expected. Not in a bad way, it’s just completely different to the Yamaha. I’ve done three decent runs so far and each time I feel better on the bike, we’re not looking at lap times, just setting the bike up for me.

“We’ve moved the gear lever; put some different handlebars on to move them closer to the seat as I’m a lot smaller than most riders. That should help me get more comfortable with the bike and get used to it, that’s the aim for the day!”
