Sea mist delays
Last time I was at the TT was 2006 and sea mist was the only weather problem during a very hot and sunny fortnight.
I was a marshal out at Rhencullen and that's where the mist was that year too.

Now I have to go to work and miss the commentary Icon_confused

delays to sidecar Friday, same reason, but that wretched Subaru still has to have its place in the limelight - thus delaying the Senior - money the reason I suppose?

RE: Sea mist delays
This stupid sea mist has thrown my refueling strategy right out.

I've already finished my beers and had to break out an emergency gin and tonic.

I usually get some premix bundy and coke in for the caffeine value in case of a late night but as I left work it was all 'dry conditions' on the TT app so I prepared accordingly (a 6 of crownies) now I'm in turmoil.

Where to next?  Cuppa?  Another G&T?  The 6 year old bottle of novelty chilli vodka I got given by a client in Ukraine?

Any race management experts out there?

Definitely recommend getting someone to fly in fresh supplies. Tesco might have a slot free! And if you go for biscuits - make sure they're not coated in anything. That only leads to trouble post-race!

Unfortunately that level of civilization (beer delivery) hasn't reached the Antipodes yet.....................you can't even buy a beer in a supermarket!

I've risked another G&T and a large bag of Cheese and Onion - hopefully that'll see me through to the slidies.  The Senior is a lost cause - damn.

Still I've got tickets to the Rugby tomorrow night so the weekend is not lost.

Aside from the sea mist, it's been a spectacular TT.

Wish this would have been the year I went.

Sadly we had to leave watching the Senior after 2 laps because we had a plane to catch.

Glad the Subaru lap was originally moved to after as we would have been rather annoyed to miss them for that!
Everything will be alright in the end. And if it's not alright, it's not yet the end.
