RE: Calor gas
Me thinks you can get calor gas cylinders from garages but not 100% sure but be warned if bringing some over make sure they are connected to a cooker etc. Otherwise they will take them off you! Had some taken and confiscated off me a few years back.

RE: Calor gas
That's my quandary the last few years i have been lucky and taken a 4.5 butane and not searched at port, but now with the step up in searches i do not want to take a bottle and have it confiscated hence my question.

RE: Calor gas
The garage at Union Mills sells pump LPG (not sure about bottled) but worth a try. Although there is no longer an official Calor gas stockist on the Island or there wasnt last year when we were over for the MGP we exchanged a Calor bottle like for like at the Garage adjacent to The Sidings pub in Castletown. They were quite happy to do this as long as there is a valid pressure test date on the bottle. Hope this helps.
