Kawasaki adds a lightweight street focused contender to the impressive Ninja range: the all new Ninja 400.  An impressive, sharp-looking, accessible sports model offering excitement and ease of riding.

The 400cc market has a strong representation in Asia and America and is now claiming ground in Europe as well. Kawasaki proudly introduces the new Ninja 400 into this highly competitive segment confident that this machine will claim its place in such a hard fought arena. The all-new sporty 399cm3 engine is tuned to deliver greater performance than its predecessor, the Ninja 300, accompanied by a smooth and predictable throttle response. While being just 100cm3 larger, the capacity increase is just one part of a fundamental upgrade delivering improved power, torque, chassis stability and suspension compliance moving entry level Ninja riding into a completely new arena.

Like its predecessor, this bigger brother is not just about performance but it is also developed to deliver ease of riding. One of the aspects that contributes to this reassuring handling is substantial weight saving. Thanks to its lighter chassis and slim design the Ninja offers both stability and easy manoeuvrability making the Ninja 400 an easy choice for new and experienced riders alike.

With the mighty Ninja ZX-10R as inspiration, the Ninja 400 fits right into the legendary Ninja range. The large volume bodywork with hints of Ninja H2 styling gives the impression of a larger capacity machine, attracts attention and gives even greater level of wind protection. And all is topped off with contemporary design, excellent fit and finish plus the look and feel of the KRT ZX-10RR racing colours.

A new bike to take over the older stuff ?
And maybe a new class to race it in, in a few years time,,,
That's if the other manufacturer's make something the same !
