John Donnan RIP
iRISH ROAD RACE FANS have lost another of our top heroes to day, John Donnan was fattally injured in a freak accident during the 600 race. A former Irish senior road race champion, John in recent years brought new talent into the sport, in fact last year his team was the only one to boast 2 championships!.
I wasnt at Tandragee to day, so here is my last pic of John, taken during feature race at Cookstown last week.
RIP JOHN

When the Seamus Greene fundraiser was mentioned a few months ago, the first call i got was from John!, and only last sat at Cookstown, i was having a we chat with him, and he was asking on Seamuss progress.
Cant believe what has happened to day, to me, he always had time, always appreciated anything, and always willing to help, i know many others can vouch for the same.
To His family circle, Amelia, Biggiz, His riders, and friends, i offer my Deepest Sympathies.
RIP John
Thanks for the memories.
Baylon

Its horrible how soon we can be struck again with such cruelty.

Terrible, terrible news.

Only commented today to others on how well John was riding after Cookstown and today at Tandragee.

Godspeed still John. We are all gutted .

Our condolences to all involved in the JD camp at this time , our prayers tonight are with you and your family and friends.

Gutted.

For a privateer team, JD Racing was certainly one of the most professionally turned out teams in the paddock.

JD will certainly be missed in his usual spot in the TT Paddock this year and I am sure I will have a prayer as I pass by that way.

Condolences to family and friends.

RIP JD

On my first ever trip to Northern Ireland, at Cookstown, I was struck by what a good professional outfit JD racing seemed to be and how stylish John was.
I didnt see John race before last weekend, but the death of any racer saddens.
It is indeed a cruel sport sometime.
They use the word tragic ib football comentaries.......they dont know...

RIP JD

I read yesterday of the circumstances of JDs crash.
If a chicane WAS to blame, where now?
Apparenly, JD was one who protested about this chicane in 2000.
I feel for the race organisers and safety people as this chicane will
have been put in with the best of intentions.

Just in from travelling home after competing at Oulton Park where we heard the tragic new in the pits yesterday.

Can only offer our thoughts and prayers to Johns family and friends and hope it helps to know that so many people are thinking about you at this tragic time.

Stella.
