That's great news. Last years do at the Villa was excellent. I was speaking to a group who had travelled over especially for the evening. They couldn't believe that they could just walk up and chat and have their photos taken with John McGuinness et al.

Now, if I could just have a grumpy moment . . . .

To my mind, I would suggest that the above should be the limit of the Department of Tourism's involvement in the TT.

Well, yeah, ok maybe they need some involvement, from a distance, in the whole shebang, but I have seen over the past 2 or 3 years That Department muscle in on the TT and virtually take it over - removing from post any TT stalwarts who dare question the credentials of the new Civil Servants.

Well, I've just confirmed my arrangements, and i'm coming over for this one :wink:
