Australia Day
Well, folks, it's Australia Day today 26th, and I'm thrilled to say that Casey Stoner has been awarded the Junior Australian of the Year. What an achievement and honour for this 'kid from the bush'. Great acknowledgement to the sport of motorcycling too.

Correction - 'YOUNG' Australian of the year. We have a Young, a Senior and then the main award 'Australian of the Year. Last year the award for the Senior of the year went to an ex speedway car driving competitor who was unfortunately made a paraplegic after a racing accident but who has given his time to help and encourage others who have similar injuries, so the motorsport people here are very pleased to have representatives two years running receiving the top awards.
