I was there that day Brian, the first time I had ever been to Dundrod to watch. I was at Quarries, the last right before the finish. Remember the race when Joey had to support Graeme Crosby on the works Suzuki and he led the race by over half a lap whilst Crosby did wheelies all round the circuit. Then on the last lap Joey eased off--just enough to let Crosby past to win the race!!
We went out for a drink that night to the Greenan Lodge--shortly afterwards it was blown up :shock:

Your nearly right Barry
Mr Crosby performed his wheelie show during the second big bike race that day. Joey won that one by a country mile.

It was the earlier F1 race that Joey slowed to let Cros through.

I was there oposite the old UPG House and after the second race Crosby was summoned to the Clerk of Course.............can't imagine why :wink:
