via Google Earth Ruler: straightest part to side street on left 0.71 miles

from exiting L-R-L-R out of Close e Volley? to side street on left (1 bend) 0.97 miles

from exiting L-R-L-R out of Close e Volley? to hard right at A17 Weir Sulby (2 bends) 1.24 miles

In comparison

Creg to Brandish (1 RH Bend) 0.91 miles

Hillberry straight 0.51 miles

Wanna know anything more? On the radio yesterday they were counting road signs and the cones on the mountain...

looking for bits
If anyone finds a complete clutch that flew off a G45 Matchless about ten years ago at Classic Manx practice on the run through to Glentrammon, I will be happy to return to its owner.
I also lost a pair of collets when a rear suspension unit broke along the Cronk y Voddy in '78 Manx practice - still finished the lap on the other one AND got a qualifying time lap in! Wonder whether the marshals along there found them.

I lost my sanity at Sarah's cottage in '92... any clues where it went?
Losing a clutch takes some doing Smile I've had an ignition rotor off an ADM go past my ear at Castle Coombe. They're heavy little things! It rolled for miles Big Grin
