RE: John Goodall R I P
We got the news of John after a day out at the Manx, to say we were stunned was an understatement. One of our number, Dick Standing, was especially upset as he knew John and had been at the presentation on sunday. The sport has lost a great ambassador and we cannot believe that famous yellow crash helmet will be no more. God Bless you John RIP.

Until I just spotted the picture of John I did not realise who it was, have met him a few times and what a nice bloke he was, could he tell a story or two RIP John and thanks for the service to the sport you loved.

He was absolutely the Spirit of the Manx, wasn't he? He raced at every Manx I was at, and I saw most of his Manxes. It will never be the same again.

He always looked too smart and clean to be a scruffy rider!!
He and his bike were always impeccably turned out, beautifully prepared machine and so recognisable.
