Darran
feeling upbeat and downbeat last night, so i put this down on paper as it came into my head. not the greatest work of literature, but -----

Here's 55 now, taking the lead,
always that hunger, always that need
to be the fastest, to be the best,
out in front now and leaving the rest.
2 stroke, 4 stroke, bikes big or small,
you rode, you raced, you won on them all.
always smiling, with that cheeky grin,
it was there, even if you didn't win.
now 2 years have gone since that fateful day
when a practice crash took your life away.
so skilled, so brave, but reckless? never!
darran you'll be in our hearts forever.

R. I. P. Darran Lindsay. 9th september 2006.
so very proud to have known you.
ade!
ACU? why not add "nt" to the end, you'll get the idea!

Welcome back, Ade. Darran is still missed so much, and that's a great tribute.

RE: Darran
nice one Ade

Daz still missed by many. The caring community of Killalane erected a wee permanent tribute where Darran fell

RE: Darran
Thats a great way to make a tribute to a man that touched many, sad loss, but never forgotten.
When people say one thing and mean another its called politics, when organisers say one thing and mean another its called a mistake, when the ACU say one thing and mean another its called information.
