KAWASAKI REVEALS BREADTH OF 2010 RACING PLANS
With the current racing season coming to a close, Kawasaki Motors UK has been quick to confirm plans for 2010. Racing in a wide variety of tarmac based disciplines next year, the range of official and supported teams is far reaching.

Entering the second year of a two year deal as KMUK's official British Superbike team, MSS Colchester Kawasaki have time to reflect on what has been an impressive season. With both current riders within half a point of each other in sixth and seventh places in the final rankings, the team hope to amass an even larger points tally in 2010 and gain their elusive first BSB win.

Official KMUK team in Supersport, Gearlink Kawasaki, recently announced the signing of Ben Wilson for the coming season and hope to confirm a second rider soon.

In the cut and thrust of National and Junior Superstock, Kawasaki are close to finalising a team deal in the 1000cc class and have recently made public their plan to support a significant number of riders in the 600cc Junior class rather than support one official team. In this way, it is hoped to create the most fertile breeding ground for future talent among a rich vein of young, talented riders.

With riders carefully selected by KMUK's racing coordinator, Ross Burridge, up to ten youngsters will have access to a subsidised Ninja ZX-6R racing package that will include not simply motorcycles, but also a range of support from technical sponsors and their products plus access to Kawasaki racing specialists.

Having placed a rider on the Senior TT podium in 2009, the pure roads racing partnership between KMUK and McAdoo Kawasaki continues for 2010 with the County Tyrone based team as official entrants. Continuing support for Ryan Farquhar in the new year also brings with it the prospect of even greater achievements on the roads.

With so many decisions already made in terms of teams and riders, KMUK Racing Coordinator, Ross Burridge, believes that there is huge potential for Kawasaki success in the coming season.

"With such generous enthusiasm directed towards us any time that a Kawasaki rider succeeds, the interest among the racing community in terms of the new season has been overwhelming. Being in the lucky position of being able to choose from a vast pool of riding talent on the back of impressive results in 2009, we are confident that Kawasaki in 2010 will be a formidable force in UK racing".
Be right back. I am going to go find myself, and if I leave before I get back, make sure to tell me !! -
