Filtrate TT Trophy - first winner?
Who was the first winner of the Filtrate TT Trophy, which consisted of a Manx Norton flywheel assembly with a silver laurel wreath?
We reckon it was John Kidson on the NorGuz - can anyone confirm this?
Is it still presented, I see a Filtrate TT trophy was sold by Bonhams in 2004.

It was John Kidson for his 6th place in 1963 250cc TT on his Norguzz. John is a lifelong friend of mine and I remember him being presented with it. Knowing John I would expect him to still have it and I think the trophy which went for auction in 1974 was maybe Carl Fogarty's but not sure of this.
