Stuart Easton fired his Mar-Train Yamaha to the top of the timesheets in the second Motorpoint British Supersport Championship free practice session as the title contender took the advantage in the dry conditions and remain ahead of Gearlink Kawasaki's Ben Wilson.

Easton lies two points adrift of Gearlink Kawasaki's Alastair Seeley ahead of this round and the Hawick rider pushed up the order and held the position in the closing stages of the session despite improvements from Wilson and Oxford TAG Triumph's Richard Cooper who set the third fastest time.


Defending champion Glen Richards improved in the final stages of the session to move to fourth, nudging his team-mate Billy McConnell out of the top five which was completed by Seton Tuning Yamaha's Graeme Gowland.
