Did anybody come back with something they didn't want i did 3rd year on the trot 23 and 24 covid this year a coughing bug and a high temperature 40.2 at its highest flu type symptoms not nice anyone else suffering.

What with weather disruptions I’d reduce the number of races to 6 or 7 over 5 days.
Get rid of superbike. 
1 6 lap senior
1 6 lap super stock
1 6 lap super sport, (or 2 3 laps)
1 4 lap super twin
2 3 lap sidecars.

What is going on 🤷‍♂️
The only thing that would cause delays in the past was the mist, which is understandable.
Now no racing in the rain and now the wind….
If they won’t race in anything but perfect conditions then the job is screwed.

Michael Rutter crashed at the 31st Milestone on the final lap of yesterday’s Super Twins race. I understand he's currently being assessed in Nobles and I'm sure I speak for all of us in wishing him well.

I note in the VMCC rag that Bill Snelling has died.

There is much work from Bill on the classic part of the main website and a myriad of photos.

Bill was also gracious enough to respond and supply some info I needed to assist me with this site shortly after Malcolm's passing.

More than that I cannot add as I never met him, but he was an encyclopedia of knowledge.

It's hurting.

I decided to cut my TT visit this year. I went out on a bike right at the start of practice week to see the pre TT classics and the first day. Classics were great but the weather for the rest of it weren't kind.

I'm back out on foot for the back end of race week.

First time I've had a reduced race week visit for over ten years and it's hurting.

Never mind the weather,,listening on the radio to the (delayed and postponed) action is hurting. Listening is great but not a patch on being there.

I'm over for the manx on a bike for an extended visit but i can't do this again.....

I've had a good word with myself and given my head a good sheck.....I'm booked on for all race week next year.

If i ever come up with this idea again.... Remind me of this post

Some days ago there was a picture of Peter Hickman very close to crash at a right hander on the TT-course. Can't find it now. Was it on this forum or somewhere else, please? Downloaded by any member here? Possible to see again?

Tonights remaining practice is cancelled due to a red flag incident,  rider alive has been officially named as Peter Hickman, Since then, organisers have now confirmed the rest of tonight's practice has been cancelled due to poor weather in the west of the Island

i wonder if somebody can give me advice. My nephew is relocating to Castletown in August to teach at a local school.
He is looking for accommodation with private kitchen and bathroom facilities. Can anyone point him in the right direction please?

apparently it's the third year in a row that figures have surpassed the record from 2007 of 47,000, 
even thought they expect 40,000?
(unless I'm reading it wrong, of course, which is entirely possible 'cos I'm trying to get everything sorted & packed on the bike,
