New club formed to resurrect Mid-Antrim 150 in 2016
Mid Antrim 150 Road Races

A new club formed in December aims to resurrect the Mid-Antrim 150 road races in 2016.

The Mid-Antrim 150 Motorcycle Club Ltd is made up of members from the Mid Antrim Motor Club Ltd (Road Racing Section), who have broken away from the club to form their own body with the stated aims of ‘drawing up our own company policy, concentrating solely on the promotion of Motor Cycle racing and not being exposed to any financial or legal liabilities associated with any events that are not under our control’.

Jack Agnew, chairman of the new club, said a further announcement will be made at the club’s stand at the Adelaide Black Horse Motorcycle Festival at the King’s Hall in Belfast on Friday evening from 8pm.

“We will be releasing exciting information on a major motorcycle event that the club are planning to promote this year,” he said. “This will be the first time that this particular event has been staged since 1988, and will be a major attraction on the racing calendar for 2015.

“For 2016, we would also plan to resurrect the Mid-Antrim 150 Road Race.

“Work has already commenced on this venture, and information will be available shortly.”

The Mid-Antrim 150 was last held in 2013.

This newly formed so called Ltd club is not a club registered with company house as required by a Ltd company,it is nothing more than a gathering of people running a club under the guise of a Ltd company but on a basis of hope that nothing goes wrong where Ltd guarantee is required.
