The Witch mentioned in another thread that any problems brought before the CoC were promptly addressed and sorted.
I would like to say after speaking to many friends involved in the 'tower' that this year was far better than previously. The reasons are not too clear but my guess is that Eddie Nelson was not fully up to speed on all the intricases of running the TT and did what all good bosses should do and delegated knowing long serving people would sort things out.
I openly admit I am not a fan of Eddies but in in this case well done !
I'll second that. I was talking directly to him and found him very approachable ( I'm only a lowly pleb), acted immediately and thanked all of us regularly. Can't fault him, folks.
oh.... he did get my name wrong a couple of times....... forgiven, Eddie!
They certainly made a ballsy decision to start the Stock race on time on monday am. I was at 33rd and was definitely expecting the dreaded message due to mist. The chopper was flying over every few minutes and I guess he said it was OK.
I suspect under previous management it would have been delayed.

Agreed after all the postings on safety they decide to start with mist fotunatly there were no incidents but who on earth gave the go ahead?

Sorry, Pykey, I never thought that I would defend the "new order" but here it seems that a decision was made following a review of the balance of probabilities, and it was the correct decision.
This would have been totally foreign to the recently-departed regime, but I could have seen Jack Wood, the last competent CoC that the TT had, doing exactly the same thing.
Good call Mr Nelson -- and I don't believe that I just typed that!!!!!
