I agree, this is just a way to try and "Let someone else win for a change"

If Shakey and/or Brookes decided not to do it then its flat

Sean Muir made a point that its a team effort, and who is going to decide? The rider? Or the team management?

Shakey has said points and wins are what he is racing for, so I doubt if he'll even consider it. I suppose if one or two lower down riders get a real fast lap in race one, putting them in the top three, they may consider taking the five grand, but I think its a poor thought out idea.
