Southern 100 Racing has announced its racing events for 2012.

The annual Media Launch was held at the Morton Hall in Castletown in front of a large audience which included Sponsors, Members of the Government, Local Commissioners, past and present riders, including the current Solo and Sidecar Champions, Guests plus National and local Media.

The evening was hosted by Manx Radio Sports Editor, Tim Glover, who took time to interview all the main sponsors of the three events organised on the Billown Course annually, the Blackford’s Financial Services Pre TT Classic Races; the Manx Telecom Post TT Races and the Steam Packet Company Southern 100 International Road Races.

Michael Dunlop, the 2011 Southern 100 Solo Champion brought those in attendance up to date with his plans for the 2012 season including his latest escapades with his Sidecar partner and current Sidecar Champion Dan Sayle.
