It's not the Olympics you're running, Mr Whyte, nor yet a World Championship event, nor even, dare I say it, a round of the BSB. It's just a seriously overblown and over-promoted Ulster Road Race, an ego trip for its organisers, and one which does no favours for our local International Licence-holding private runners. By comparison, the UGP (the organisers of which and I have fallen out from time to time . . . .) just keeps its head down and gets on with it.
