RE: MV AGUSTA 50 years
You are correct !! WELL DONE !!

It was Walter Schneider/H Strauss who won the Sidecar.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that a one-legged driver came 4th and Eric Oliver finished tenth driving a Norton with a standard Watsonian sidecar kept down by Mrs Pat Wise !! Jackie Beeton managed to finishe 3rd which split up the BMWs cos he was driving a Norton Outfit !!

I wonder if MV will commemorate their solo whitewash. Ducati are celebrating Mikes 1978 return and their TT involvement over the years. The 1958 results show him riding a PATON to 7th place in the 125 but someone told me he was riding a Ducati then, can anyone confirm or otherwise please ?? I think someone was confused with fact Mike rode Ducati 125 in 1959 to 3rd place......Hailwood actually finished 3rd in the 1958 250 on an NSU ...

Eh Lad, it's all getting complicated innit !!!
