Have a look out there for James Hillier "saving" it at Ballagarey 1st lap .. I think he would have something saved in his leathers for the rest of the race.

I also got the impression from the on-board that he was fighting the bike a lot.  He alluded to not being that happy in interviews a few time too.  Given that the bikes are essentially what he was riding last year its a bit of puzzler.  The one thing that does come to mind is the change to Dunlops (apparently at his own request).  I'm wondering if the Dunlop tyre isn't as stable.  Its probably the one adjustment he couldn't make.

Something else that puzzled me at the time was him completely destroying the rear at the end of the superstock - just seemed out of character and uncalled for - I also thought that the manufactures generally wanted to check them out.  Probably nothing but surprised me at the time.

I expected Hillier to be first to Glen Helen in the Senior - his sixth all made sense when I saw the photos.......

At Ballagarey too!  Fast as.....

That was a scary one!
Was it Hillier who had a big moment over a crest a couple of years ago, that sent the TV cameraman running for his life?

RE: Senior race
Oh yes, thanks.  And apparently it was 5 years ago, not a couple!
