Just heard the sad news that Frank Fox passed away yesterday. Frank won the 1953 Junior Manx Grand Prix and had a successful short-circuit career. More news as I get it.

Thats sad news, Frank was a lovely guy and missed him having a wander at this years TT
Well I'm so sad to hear this news. I have had the great pleasure of playing golf recently with Frank. What a man! His host of stories were reeled off between strokes relentlessly. He really had seen the golden days of racing in the early to mid fifties. And he was still playing golf off 13 handicap well into his eighties. His enthusiasm, sparkle, and love of life will travel well with him into the next world. R.I.P. Frank, a true Yorkshireman.
Frank's funeral will take place on Thursday 22nd October, at 10.30am, Lawn Cemetery, Johnny Watterson Lane, Douglas, Isle of Man.
By request, donations in lieu of flowers to TT Riders' Association, c/o Frances Thorp, Mountain View Glen Maye Isle of Man. IM5 3BJ
