I think this year my nickname will be MGPFan, I am so looking forward to the racing, the wide variation of machines and men (and girls !) and the extra classes and capacities. I wish I was there with you all.
I left the TT in June wondering what is needed to get it really interesting again, and I think the MGP have come up with the perfect formula.
I hope my criticism is considered constructive.................
I have just raided Juniors piggy bank to purchase the Motor Cycle News hoping that in this special New MGP Festival year we might have had some broadsheet build-up to the two weeks of racing.
I have carefully checked but can not find a single mention. Please tell me if anyone finds any words how few there may be that I am failing to see.
Is there an MCN reporter over on the Island ??
I find it quite unbelievable that nothing has been placed even in a short column.
Yes, I realise that I'm getting info quicker on the internet than reading a weekly paper but I used to KEEP the MCN as a record of events.........
"They" talk about wanting to promote motorcycling......
Why don't they get involved with the MGP where the bikes are mainly roadsters that can be ridden by the motorcycle-buying punter and not the one-off projectiles ridden by a small handful of specialist riders??
In 2015 I celebrate 68 years as a devoted TTFan

Well, Gary Pinchin did come up with some interesting reports this week and I love the photo of the "Suzuki Team" but little is said about the actual races..............................
