Not a glory hunter, but it's very hard not to be overwhelmed with Hutchys bravery, dedication and skill. For a man that looks like a bank clerk, he's got the biggest cahoonahs in the business. Good luck to all though and hopefully a safe one.
The With so many fast talented riders at the top these days it's difficult to pick a winner. On top form I wouldn't bet against Michael Dunlop, would never bet against John McGuinness and only a fool would rule out Bruce Anstey. Guy Martin, James Hillier, Conor Cummins and a host of others are all quick enough to take the win. With all that said Ian Hutchinson is back and is taking no prisoners! Weather conditions are perfect around the island at the moment for the Senior. Whatever the outcome and whoever stands on the top step we're in for a superb race. Let's hope they all have a safe one!
I'd urge MyGuinness to do a Hutchy impression before the off, I tried it at the bowling ally and blew the competition away. Hutch should try motivational speeches when he retires.
At the beginning of the fortnight, I would never have given Hutchy a chance, but what a rider. Absolutely brilliant. His attitude is a real inspiration to us all. I just have a feeling he will do it again. So, my prediction is:
1. Hutchy.
2. Bruce.
3. Hillier.
And I have this feeling that MD will break the lap record and then retire. Lap 2. Almost like Moody in '99 but for different reasons. I would love to John do it again, but I think the Fireblade hasn't quite got it this year.
Mind you - what do I know? I've only been watching the TT for about 30 years and I am never right! Hope everyone has a safe one!
I'd love to see Guy or JM130 win today, but I'm feeling that Hutchy is the man to beat now. I expect Mickey D & Brucie to be snapping at his heels though, so he'll have to be bang on it today. Let's hope it's a great climax to TT 2015, but as others have already said: the most important thing is that all the riders get home safe & sound today.
The rider involved in the incident at Burnside - and now receiving treatment at Nobles Hospital - is Jamie Hamilton. Everything crossed that he isn't too badly injured...
