RE: Manx money
That's a good question! I've got a tenner left over from Manx GP 2019!
Also, I was the only taxi driver in the Morecambe & Heysham area that took Manx money!  Icon_cool

RE: Manx money
According to my source (i.e. the friends we stop with) they are still paper, so we're OK.
Then he said that their 18 month old seemed to have caught a bug!!!! panic set in 'til he messaged back to say "it's the TT bug"
I nearly had a heart attack!!  Confused Icon_biggrin

RE: Manx money
I always carried a Manx tenner in the lining of my helmet - just in case.
We retired on lap two of the Sidecar A race in 1993 and pulled in at The Hawthorn pub.
I nipped into the bar and bought two pints. The £8 change is in a plastic wallet that stayed in my leathers inside pocket for the rest of my racing career. It will never be spent.

Hint - I was driving a Molyneux Kawasaki. The first ever Moly chassis and the bike that Dave put on the rostrum the previous year.

PS. How do you insert photos into a reply?
